Brian J. Kenny, B.Sc. (Mgmt), FCA
Having successfully completed his business degree, awarded by Trinity College Dublin, Brian became a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Ireland in 1993. He continued to work in a medium-sized practice, managing a wide portfolio of clients in the building, IT, catering and other sectors. At the request of an ex-client, Brian became the Financial Controller of a telecommunications business following the deregulation of the telecoms market. In 1995, he took a short-term assignment with PriceWaterhouseCoopers in the Business Consulting team.
In February 1997, Brian established his own practice, allowing him to provide a much sought after, hands-on practical and value-based service to small and medium-sized business, both start-up and existing, in all business sectors.
Brian is married and has three children. He has a keen interest in sport and enjoys playing golf and watching rugby.
Linda commenced her professional education by studying business and public relations in her native country, Latvia. Following her arrival in Ireland, and having commenced employment with BJK Accountants, Linda became an Accounting Technician having passed her exams with distinction. She then went on to become a member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants in Ireland.
Linda has been in practice for over 14 years and has an extensive knowledge of many business sectors and, as well as accounts, audit and general business compliance, has a detailed knowledge of the Irish Tax system and how it applies to small and medium-sized businesses. Linda manages our Tax department and is responsible for following the changes and developments in Irish Tax law and how they relate to our clients. She favours using smart strategies and ‘thinking outside the box’ to ensure our clients tax bills are reduced to a minimum.
Linda believes that the right advice, delivered in a timely and clear manner, is the key to success in any business.
Louise joined the team at BJK Accountants in 2004 as a trainee accountant. Since then, she has qualified as a member of the Institute of Accounting Technicians in Ireland and the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants.
Louise enjoys interacting with clients and believes trust and confidence are the key factors to building and maintaining excellent working relationships. In addition to her roles in accounting, taxation and auditing, Louise is also responsible for the developing and monitoring of the firm’s company secretarial services. Louise keeps up to date with changes in company law and ensures clients’ statutory requirements and obligations are fully complied with.
